Common use of Reallocation of Wages Clause in Contracts

Reallocation of Wages. The Union may allocate to the fringe benefit contribution rates set forth in 8.01, 8.02 and 8.03 above either one-half percent (0.5%) of the wage increase that will go into effect for the period April 3, 2016 through April 1, 2017, or one-half percent (0.5%) of the wage increase that will go into effect for the period beginning April 2, 2017 through March 31, 2018, thereby reducing the wage increase to one and one-half percent (1.5%) for the chosen year. The Union agrees to give notice to the Canadian Affiliates of the AMPTP and the CMPA-BC of any such allocation to fringe benefits not less than ninety (90) days prior to Xxxxx 0, 0000 (xx the allocation is to be effective in the second year of the Agreement), or not less than ninety (90) days prior to Xxxxx 0, 0000 (xx the allocation is to be effective in the third year of the Agreement).
