Common use of Recall for Overtime Clause in Contracts

Recall for Overtime. An employee recalled to work overtime after leaving the place of work (whether notified before or after leaving the premises) shall be paid a minimum of four hours work at the appropriate overtime rate for each occasion the employee is so recalled. This clause shall not apply where it is customary for an employee to return to work to perform a specific job outside the employee's ordinary working hours.
