Living Away. The provisions of this clause will apply where an employee is requested to work at a site, where the distance from home is such that it would be impracticable for the employee to travel home after the shift and return for the next shift. As an example, where the distance to the work site is greater than 150 kilometres from the home or home base (whichever is the lesser) and the next shift at that location falls within a 12 hour period, provided that there is a 10 hour break. The parties may elect either option by agreement: Option 1 The company to supply accommodation at a minimum 3.5 stars where available. A total expense allowance of $98.75 per night minimum, to be paid to cover costs of meals and expenses. This amount will increase to $103.20 from 1st July 2008.

Living Away. Work undertaken beyond the boundaries of Sydney metropolitan, Wollongong & Central Coast will be deemed living away. Civil Sydney will pay all accommodation & meal expenses. Civil Sydney will also provide an additional $50 per night payment. Additional travel outside these areas will be paid at the relevant hourly rate. NOTE:- 1. Full day to be up to 10 hours / day as required.
Living Away. The reimbursement rate for living away is $70.00 per night where an employee is required to work on a site, which is at a distance from his home that it is impracticable for him to return home. The basis of the payment is that the company will be responsible for: * Reasonable hotel/motel accommodation (at a place close to site). * Hotel and motel accommodation will be of a twin-share arrangement, except by special arrangement, i.e. snoring, sickness etc. and must be authorised by your direct supervisor. * Telephone calls made on company business, All payments will be made on presentation of an approved expense sheet and will be paid directly into a nominated bank account. These payments are currently classified tax-free and do not appear on employees group certificates. The living away reimbursement is deemed to cover all other incidental costs of living away including; * All meals including breakfast * Laundry * Personal phone calls Where exceptional circumstances exist the company may review the merits of further expense reimbursements on a case by case basis.

  • LIVING AWAY FROM HOME ALLOWANCE 27.1 For the purpose of this Clause, a “distant project” is one where the location of the “on-site project work” is such that because of its distance or because of the travelling facilities available to and from the location, it is reasonably necessary for an employee to live and sleep at some place other than his/her usual place of residence.

  • LIVING WAGE An Authorized User subject to a local law establishing a “living wage”, such as Section 6-109 of the New York City Administrative Code, is required to ensure the Contractor sought to be hired complies with such local law. If the pay rate(s) for a job title(s) as set forth in Appendix E – Pricing Pages, are less than the local law “living wage” than Authorized User subject to such local law cannot use this Contract for such job title(s). SHORT TERM EXTENSION In the event a replacement Contract has not been issued, any Contract let and awarded hereunder by the State, may be extended unilaterally by the State for an additional period of up to three (3) months upon notice to the Contractor with the same terms and conditions as the original Contract including, but not limited to, prices and delivery requirements. With the concurrence of the Contractor, the extension may be for a period of up to six (6) months in lieu of three (3) months. However, this extension terminates should the replacement Contract be issued in the interim. PROCUREMENT INSTRUCTIONS Authorized Users should refer to Attachment 1 – How to Use the Manufacturer Umbrella Contract for specific instructions on the usage of this Contract.
