Common use of Recall Notice Clause in Contracts

Recall Notice. Employees who are eligible for recall shall be given written notice of recall with a copy to the Union. The employee must provide written notice to the Employer’s Human Resources Department of their intention to return within seven (7) calendar days of the date of the recall notice. The employee must be willing to report and return to work within fourteen (14) calendar days of the date of the written notice of recall. The Employer shall be deemed to have fulfilled its obligations by mailing the written recall notice to the mailing address provided by the employee. It is the obligation and responsibility of the employee to provide the Employer with his/her current mailing address.
