Common use of Recognition of Bargaining Agent Clause in Contracts

Recognition of Bargaining Agent. Pursuant to the November 3, 1976, certification of the Illinois Office of Collective Bargaining and the April 3, 1985, certification of the Illinois Educational Labor Relations Board, and the November 12, 2001 certification of the Illinois Educational Labor Relations Board, the Board recognizes the Union as the exclusive bargaining agent for academic Employees and academic support Employees and Charter School faculty (if the GSU Charter School resumes operation) in the bargaining units described in the attached certifications. See Appendices A and B, and Article 10.
