Recognition of Officers. The Town agrees to recognize the duly elected officers and representatives of the Union.
Recognition of Officers. ‌ The Union shall have persons designated as officers in the unit within the jurisdiction of the particular Union. The officers so designated will be recognized as the representatives of the Union. The names shall be submitted to the employer on or before July 1 in each year and any changes shall be submitted in writing to the employer within seven (7) days of the changes. Negotiations and grievance meetings, including arbitration hearings, may be held during work hours. Effective upon ratification of this Agreement, all employees who are allowed leave from duty as a result of such meetings will suffer no loss of pay or benefits.
