Common use of Recognition of Prior Service Clause in Contracts

Recognition of Prior Service. (a) For the purposes of this clause, all periods of service with the Northern Territory Public Sector, Australian Public Service or another Territory or State Public Service/Sector, where war service sick leave entitlements are provided, are to be considered as continuous service regardless of the length of any break in service. (b) Any accumulative or non-accumulative credit available at the end of one period of service must be carried forward to any subsequent period of service.
