Common use of Recognition of Stewards Clause in Contracts

Recognition of Stewards. The Company agrees to recognize a maximum of four (4) Union stewards elected or appointed by the Union to represent the first one hundred (100) employees. The Company further agrees to recognize one (1) additional shop xxxxxxx for every additional fifty (50) employees above one hundred (100) employees in the Bargaining Unit upon being notified in writing by the Union of the election or appointment.
