Common use of Recognition of the Board Clause in Contracts

Recognition of the Board. The Association recognizes the Board as the locally elected body charged with the responsibility for management of the local schools in accordance with the Ohio Revised Code. It is further recognized that the Board of Education is vested with authority to make such rules and regulations as are necessary for the government of its employees.

Recognition of the Board. The Association recognizes the Board as the locally elected body charged by the Statutes of the State of Ohio [ORC 4117.08(0)] with the responsibility establishment of policies for management public education in the Xxxxx Elm Local School District and as the employer of all certificated personnel of the local schools in accordance with the Ohio Revised Code. It is further recognized that the Board of Education is vested with authority to make such rules and regulations as are necessary for the government of its employeesschool system.
