Refunds and Deductions. If the OAG determines that an overpayment of grant funds under this contract has occurred, such as payments made inadvertently or payments made but later determined to not be actual and allowable allocable costs, the OAG may seek a refund from GRANTEE and/or the Certified Vendor. The OAG may offset and deduct the amount of the overpayment from any amount due to be paid, but not yet paid by the OAG under this contract. The OAG may choose to require a payment directly from GRANTEE and/or the Certified Vendor rather than offset and deduct a specified amount. GRANTEE and/or the Certified Vendor shall refund any overpayment to the OAG within thirty (30) calendar days of the receipt of the notice of the overpayment from the OAG unless an alternate payment plan is specified by the OAG.

In accordance with our Community Policies and as allowed by law, we may deduct from your security deposit any amounts due under the Lease. If you move out early or in response to a notice to vacate, you’ll be liable for rekeying charges. Upon receipt of your move-out date and forwarding address in writing, the security deposit will be returned (less lawful deductions) with an itemized accounting of any deductions, no later than 30 days after surrender or abandonment, unless laws provide otherwise. Any refund may be by one payment jointly payable to all residents and distributed to any one resident we choose, or distributed equally among all residents. to obtain your own insurance for losses due to theft, fire, flood, water, pipe leaks and similar occurrences. Most renter’s insurance policies don’t cover losses due to a flood.
