Regional and Local Government. In fulfilling its obligations and commitments under this Agreement, each Party shall ensure their observance by regional and local governments and authorities in its territory as well as their observance by non-governmental bodies in the exercise of powers delegated by central, regional or local governments or authorities within its territory.

Regional and Local Government. 1. Each Party shall take such reasonable measures as may be available to it to ensure observance of the provisions of this Agreement by the regional and local governments and authorities within its territory.
Regional and Local Government. In fulfilling its obligations and commitments under this Agreement, each Party shall take such reasonable measures as may be available to it to ensure their observance by regional and local governments and authorities and non-governmental bodies in the exercise of powers delegated to them by central, regional and local governments or authorities within its Area. For greater certainty, neither Party shall be discharged from its obligations under this Agreement, in the event of a noncompliance with the provisions of this Agreement, by any of its governmental levels or non-governmental bodies in the exercise of such powers delegated to them.
Regional and Local Government. Each Party shall take every available measure to ensure the observance of all obligations and commitments under this Agreement by its respective regional and local governments and authorities, and by non-governmental bodies in the exercise of governmental powers delegated to them by central, regional and local governments or authorities.

Each Party shall take such reasonable measures as may be available to it to ensure observance of the provisions of this Agreement by the regional and local governments and authorities within its territory. 2. This provision is to be interpreted and applied in accordance with the principles set out in paragraph 3 (a) of Article I of the GATS and the Understanding on the Interpretation of Article XXIV of the GATT 1994, as applicable. Paragraph 3 (a) of Article I of the GATS and the Understanding on the Interpretation of Article XXIV of the GATT 1994 are hereby incorporated and made part of this Agreement.
Regional and Local Government. Each Party is fully responsible for the observance of all provisions in this Agreement, and, except as otherwise provided for in this Agreement, shall take such reasonable measures1 as may be available to it to ensure that they are observed by the regional and local governments and authorities within its territory, and in respect of trade in services and investment covered by Chapter 7 (Cross-Border Trade in Services) and Chapter 8 (Investment) of this Agreement, that they are observed by non- governmental bodies (in the exercise of powers delegated by central, regional or local government or authorities) within its territory.

  • Regional and Local Transmission The prices quoted in Exhibit A do not include current and future charges for distribution service costs collected by the Local Distributor under its distribution service tariff or local transmission costs as may be imposed by the regional power pool, ISO-NE, or individual electric utilities that have FERC transmission tariffs. Its Competitive Supplier understands that these costs will be collected by the Local Distributor. If, in the future, Competitive Supplier becomes responsible for such distribution or transmission costs, Competitive Supplier shall be entitled to collect such costs from Participating Consumers to the extent permitted by any Governmental Rules. These costs are “pass through” costs as determined by the appropriate regulatory agencies.

  • PERSONAL AND ACADEMIC FREEDOM A. The personal life of a teacher is not within the appropriate concern or attention of the Board except as it may directly affect the efficient performance of assigned functions during the workday.

  • Federal Government End Use Provisions We provide the Services, including related software and technology, for ultimate federal government end use solely in accordance with the following: Government technical data and software rights related to the Services include only those rights customarily provided to the public as defined in this Agreement. This customary commercial license is provided in accordance with FAR 12.211 (Technical Data) and FAR 12.212 (Software) and, for Department of Defense transactions, DFAR 252.227-7015 (Technical Data – Commercial Items) and DFAR 227.7202-3 (Rights in Commercial Computer Software or Computer Software Documentation). If a government agency has a need for rights not granted under these terms, it must negotiate with Us to determine if there are acceptable terms for granting those rights, and a mutually acceptable written addendum specifically granting those rights must be included in any applicable agreement.

  • Government All of LESSEE's obligations under this Lease will continue to the same extent as if such requisition had not occurred.

  • Separate Central and Local Terms The collective agreement shall consist of two parts. Part “A” shall comprise those terms which are central terms. Part “B” shall comprise those terms which are local terms.

  • PROFESSIONAL AUTONOMY 1.   • U.S. Government End Users The Software is a "commercial item," as that term is defined in 48 C.F.R. 2.101 (Oct. 1995), consisting of "commercial computer software" and "commercial computer software documentation," as such terms are used in 48 C.F.R. 12.212 (Sept. 1995). Consistent with 48 C.F.R. 12.212 and 48 C.F.R. 227.7202-1 through 227.7202-4 (June 1995), all U.S. Government End Users acquire the Software with only those rights set forth herein.
