Reinstatement after Leave. Any supervisor returning from an approved leave of absence of less than six (6) months, shall be entitled to return to a position in their former classification within thirty-five (35) miles of the former position. For approved leaves of absence of six (6) months or more, supervisors shall be entitled to return to one of the following: • a position in the class from which the supervisor left and within thirty-five (35) miles of the former position, or • a vacancy in a related class, with the same range assignment as the supervisor's class, for which the supervisor is determined qualified by the employer, and within thirty-five
