Reinstatement of Sick Leave. An eligible employee who is reinstated or reappointed to State service within four (4) years of the date of resignation in good standing, or retirement shall have his/her accumulated but unused sick leave balance restored and posted to his/her credit in the records of the Appointing Authority.

An eligible employee who is reinstated or reappointed to State service within four (4) years of the date of resignation in good standing, or retirement shall have their accumulated but unused sick leave balance restored and posted to their credit in the records of the employing department provided such sick leave was accrued in accordance with the personnel rules or the provisions of this Agreement. An employee who receives severance pay, and returns to State service within four (4) years of the date of resignation in good standing or retirement, shall have their sick leave balance restored at sixty percent (60%) of the employee’s first nine-hundred (900) hours of accumulated but unused sick leave, plus eighty-seven and one-half percent (87½%) of the employee’s accumulated but unused sick leave in excess of nine-hundred (900) hours. Upon request, employees of the legislative branch who transfer or who are appointed to State service within four (4) years of the date of resignation in good standing or retirement shall have accumulated unused sick leave posted to the employee's credit provided such sick leave was accrued in accordance with the personnel rules or the provisions of this Agreement.
Reinstatement of Sick Leave. An eligible teacher who is reinstated or reappointed to State service within four (4) years of the date of resignation in good standing, or retirement shall have their accumulated but unused sick leave balance restored and posted to their credit in the records of the Appointing Authority. Upon request, employees of the Legislative Branch who transfer or who are appointed to the Executive Branch within four (4) years of the date of resignation in good standing or retirement shall have accumulated unused sick leave posted to the teacher's credit.
Reinstatement of Sick Leave. MainePERS employee who is re-employed into a full-time position at MainePERS within sixty (60) days of separation from MainePERS will have his/her previously accumulated and unused sick leave balance restored. Any employee returning from layoff shall also have his/her previously accumulated and unused sick leave restored.
Reinstatement of Sick Leave. When it is determined that a Member who has been absent on sick leave is able to return to work and has a reoccurrence of the same or related injury or illness, then the following shall apply:
(a) If the return is for at least sixty (60) calendar days, then the one hundred and eighty (180) calendar day count shall be reset, and the Member shall be eligible for one hundred and eighty (180) calendar days of sick leave in the event of injury or illness.
(b) If the return is for less than sixty (60) calendar days, then the Member shall return to sick leave and the remaining portion of the one hundred and eighty (180) calendar day count shall continue from the point at which it was suspended by the Member’s return to work.
Reinstatement of Sick Leave. A faculty member who is reinstated or re-appointed to the Minnesota State Colleges within four (4) years from the date of resignation or retirement may, at the Employer’s discretion, have the accumulated but unused sick leave balance restored and posted to the faculty member’s credit provided such sick leave was accrued in accord with the provisions of this Contract. However, upon reinstatement or rehire, a faculty member who received severance pay shall have sick leave restored in an amount equal to the sick leave balance not liquidated as severance pay at the time of separation or may buy back the total amount of sick leave previously paid off as severance by paying the college at the time of reinstatement or rehire the gross amount of dollars previously paid out.
Reinstatement of Sick Leave. Adjunct faculty members returning to College employment within five (5) years following the end of active employment will have their previously accrued sick leave balance reinstated.

(b) If the return is for at less than (30) calendar days, then the Member shall return to sick leave and the remaining portion of the one hundred and eighty (180) (or ninety (90), as applicable) calendar day count shall continue from the point at which it was suspended by the Member’s return to work.
Reinstatement of Sick Leave. The Board shall grant to any teacher employed or reemployed within two (2) years after termination from any Tennessee school system, sick leave which the teacher had accumulated during previous employment in that system as provided in Tennessee Code Annotated 49-5-710.
