Reinstatement of Employees’ Representatives. Employees elected to a full-time office or position in the Amalgamated Transit Union shall be granted leave of absence upon written application to their Department Head for the period they are so acting. Upon retirement from said office, employees shall be given their former employment and seniority, provided they are qualified after receiving the normal training required to fill such a position at the time of reinstatement.
