Common use of Release Time Clause in Contracts

Release Time. A. The Employer will approve paid release time for a reasonable number of employee representatives who are scheduled to work during the time negotiations are being conducted, provided the absence of the employee will not interfere with the operating needs of the University. The Employer will approve compensatory time, vacation leave or leave without pay for additional employee representatives provided the absence of the employee will not interfere with the operating needs of the University. B. No overtime or compensatory time will be incurred as a result of negotiations and/or preparation for negotiations.
