Repair and Replacement of Unsatisfactory Concrete. (i) Immediately after the shuttering is removed, the surface of concrete shall be very carefully gone over and all defective areas called to the attention of the Engineer who may permit patching of the defective areas or also reject the concrete unit either partially or in its entirety. Rejected concrete shall be removed and replaced by the contractor. Holes mortar composed of one part of cement to one and half parts of sand passing 2.36 mm I.S. sieve after removing any loose stones adhering to the concrete. Concrete surfaces shall be finished as described in specifications or as directed by the Engineer.

Repair and Replacement of Unsatisfactory Concrete. Immediately after the shuttering is removed, the surface of concrete shall be very carefully one over and holes noticed shall be filled up and made good with mortar composed of one part of cement to one part of sand after removing any loose stones adhering to the concrete. Concrete surfaces shall be finished as described under the particular items of work. Superficial honeycombed surfaces shall be made good immediately after removal of shuttering, in presence of Architect's representative and superficial water and air holes shall be filled in. Unless otherwise instructed by the Engineer, the surface of the exposed concrete placed against shuttering shall be rubbed down immediately on removal of shuttering to remove fins or other irregularities. Unsatisfactory concrete shall be cut out and replaced with new concrete, as soon as practicable after removal of forms. Anchors, tees, or dovetail slots shall be provided wherever necessary to attach the new material securely in place. Surface of prepared voids shall be wetted for 24 hours immediately before the patching material is placed. Use of an epoxy for blending fresh concrete used for repairs will be permitted upon written approval of the Engineer. Epoxies shall be applied in strict accordance with the instructions of the manufacturer.

  • Repair and Replacement Subject to obtaining prior written permission of the Authority and any instructions/specifications issued by the Authority, the Operator may if need so arises, replace or install any equipment or accessory for beyond the specifications inside or on the outside of the Contracted Buses. In the event the Operator replaces or installs any equipment or accessory in accordance with this provision, it shall ensure that such additional equipment or accessory is compatible with the existing bus components, parts, software, accessories, or equipment.

  • Maintenance, Repair and Replacement Subject to the provisions of Article 10.00 and payment by the Tenant of Rent, the Landlord shall operate, maintain, repair and replace the systems, facilities and equipment necessary for the proper operation of the Project and for provision of the Landlord's Services set out in Section 6.02 (except as may be installed by or be the property of the Tenant) and shall maintain and repair the foundations, structure and roof of the Building and repair damage to the Building which the Landlord is obligated to insure against under Article 9.00, provided that:

  • MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR; RULES Tenant will, at its sole expense, keep and maintain the Premises and appurtenances in good and sanitary condition and repair during the term of this Agreement and any renewal thereof. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, Tenant shall:

  • Maintenance and Repairs 7.1 Tenant shall, at its expense, throughout the Term and all renewals and extensions thereof, maintain in good order, condition and repair the Premises, including but not limited to heating and air conditioning equipment, walls, floors and ceilings, window exteriors, mechanical and electrical systems and equipment exclusively serving the Premises, electric light fixtures, bulbs, tubes and tube casings, doors, floor coverings, dock doors, levelers, plumbing system and plumbing fixtures, Tenant’s signs and utility facilities not maintained by Landlord. Landlord shall use reasonable efforts to extend to Tenant the benefit from warranties on such items, if any, that have been made by Landlord’s contractors or vendors and to extend to Tenant, as and if available, any bulk buying power that Landlord may have with such contractors or vendors. If any portion of the Premises or any system or equipment in the Premises which Tenant is obligated to repair cannot be fully repaired, Tenant shall promptly replace the same, regardless of whether the benefit of such replacement extends beyond the Term. Tenant shall, at Tenant’s expense, maintain a preventive maintenance contract providing for the regular inspection (at least quarterly) and maintenance of the heating and air conditioning system by a licensed and qualified heating and air conditioning contractor, or Tenant shall perform such HVAC inspection and maintenance with duly licensed and qualified employee. The cost of such preventive maintenance contract shall be paid by Tenant and an expense solely chargeable to Tenant; but if Landlord so elects, same may be billed directly by Landlord to Tenant where Landlord on Tenant’s behalf enters into such preventive maintenance contract and in such case shall be deemed Additional Rent (Landlord alone may so elect whether to enter into such preventive maintenance contract on Tenant’s behalf). Landlord shall have the right, upon notice to Tenant, to undertake the responsibility for preventive maintenance of any other system or component at Tenant’s expense. Tenant shall be responsible for janitorial services and trash removal from the Premises, at Tenant’s expense. Landlord and Tenant intend that, at all times during the Term, Tenant shall maintain the Premises in good order and condition and appearances reasonably commensurate with the balance of the Property. All of Tenant’s obligations to maintain and repair shall be accomplished at Tenant’s sole expense. If Tenant fails to maintain and repair the Premises as required by this Section, Landlord may, on 10 days’ prior written notice (except that no notice shall be required in case of emergency), enter the Premises and perform such maintenance or repair on behalf of Tenant; provided such entry is made in compliance with Applicable Laws, including but not limited to, the Marijuana code. In such cases, Tenant shall reimburse Landlord immediately upon demand for all costs incurred in performing such maintenance or repair plus an administration fee equal to 5% of such actual and reasonable costs or expenses.

  • ADDITIONAL SPECIAL CONTRACT CONDITIONS A. Special Contract Conditions revisions: the corresponding subsections of the Special Contract Conditions referenced below are replaced in their entirety with the following:

  • Installation, Maintenance, Testing and Repair Unless otherwise agreed in writing by the Parties, to the extent required by Applicable Law, Interconnection provided by a Party shall be equal in quality to that provided by such Party to itself, any subsidiary, affiliates or third party.   • Maintenance and Repair – Line Sharing 3.6.1 C.M. shall have access for repair and maintenance purposes to any Loop for which it has access to the High Frequency Spectrum. If C.M. is using a BellSouth owned splitter, C.M. may access the Loop at the point where the combined voice and data signal exits the central office splitter via a bantam test jack. If C.M. provides its own splitter, it may test from the collocation space or the Termination Point.

  • SERVICE AND REPLACEMENT PARTS 23.1 During the term of this Contract, Seller will fulfill Buyer's and Customer’s service and replacement parts requirements at the then current production price(s) under this Contract. If the Products are systems or modules, Seller will sell the components or parts that comprise the system or module at price(s) that will not, in the aggregate, exceed the price of the system or module less assembly costs.
