Common use of Replacement of Personal Property Clause in Contracts

Replacement of Personal Property. 1. Subject to the conditions and procedures provided below, the District will pay the cost of replacing or repairing personal property of an employee such as vehicles, eyeglasses, hearing aids, dentures, watches, or articles of clothing necessarily worn or carried by the employee when such items are damaged in the course of employment without fault of the employee or if such property is stolen from the employee by robbery or theft while the employee is in the course of employment.
