Requests to Create New Jobs. New job title classifications must be requested by the appropriate Cabinet member, recommended by the Superintendent and approved by the Board. The classification and pay grade of each new job shall be recommended by the Compensation Administration Section of the Human Resources Department and submitted to the Cabinet for their concurrence. The Superintendent will then make a recommendation to the Board for approval. Additional personnel slots must be requested through budget. Job title and pay grade will be determined by Compensation Administration.
