Respect security. Security refers to the personal security of Independent Prison Monitor , the security of the prisoners who are in contact with them and the overall security of the prison. Independent Prison Monitor are key- holders in the prison and must have completed local induction and key security prior to the uplift of any keys. If an Independent Prison Monitor is on the rota to perform a night visit, the prison must be informed in advance to ensure that the Independent Prison Monitor can be recognised and external doors be opened for them. In the event of a night visit the Independent Prison Monitor will not be allowed to access keys, or speak with any prisoner. They may accompany staff on a night patrol around the prison and monitor in the electronic control room (ECR). It is important to respect the internal rules of the prison visited and to seek advice or request any special dispensation from those in charge. The prison authorities may invoke security reasons for not allowing an Independent Prison Monitor to specific places or put conditions on interviews with specific prisoners. This must be respected, however should be challenged for defensibility through the appropriate channels. Independent Prison Monitor should refrain from introducing or removing any object without the prior agreement of the prison authorities. They should display their identity by wearing a badge indicating that they are an Independent Prison Monitor and this should be worn on an independent prison monitoring lanyard. Regarding the security of the prisoners visited, the Independent Prison Monitor should consider how to use information in such a way as not to put individuals at risk. Independent Prison Monitor should make repeat visits and meet again most of the prisoners seen previously to make sure they have not suffered reprisals.

  • CONTRACT SECURITY 8.2.1 The Contractor shall, prior to the Commencement Date or within the specified time, provide to the Owner any contract security specified in row D.2 of the Information Sheet.

  • Airport Security The Contractor shall be familiar with and conduct its operations in accordance with all regulations and directives of the Authority and the Transportation Security Administration, and any other federal, state or local government having jurisdiction over the airport, with respect to the maintenance of airport security.

  • E7 Security The Authority shall be responsible for maintaining the security of the Authority premises in accordance with its standard security requirements. The Contractor shall comply with all security requirements of the Authority while on the Authority premises, and shall ensure that all Staff comply with such requirements.

  • UNION SECURITY 7.01 The Employer shall deduct monthly from the pay due to each employee who is covered by this Agreement a sum equal to the monthly Union dues of each such employee. Where an employee has no earnings during the first payroll period, the deduction shall be made in the next payroll period where the employee has earnings, within that month. The Union shall notify the employer in writing of the amount of such dues from time to time. The Employer will send to the Union its cheque for the dues so deducted in the month following the month in which the dues are deducted. When arrears or adjustments are submitted retroactively, the dues month and an explanation will accompany any such dues. 7.02 The Employer shall provide the Union with a list showing the first and last names and Social Insurance Numbers of all employees from whom deductions have been made. The report will identify the name of the facility and the month from which the dues are remitted. The Employer will also identify job classification (where the bargaining unit includes classifications, employees paid less than RNs) and status (i.e. full-time, part-time) of the employees, all terminations, newly hired employees (including start date, where the existing system allows for the information without cost), and employees on Leaves of Absence. On a quarterly basis, the Home will also provide the members’ current addresses and phone numbers, shown on the Employer’s personnel records. The Employer will endeavour to provide information in electronic format if the Employer has the technology. The Union may forward any questions with respect to individual employees in writing (or e-mail) to the Administrator (or designate). The employer will respond to such requests with any information it has which is readily available, within two weeks. 7.03 The Employer shall provide each employee with a T4 Supplementary slip showing the dues deducted in the previous year for income tax purposes where such information is or becomes readily available through the employer's payroll system. 7.04 The Union shall indemnify and save the Employer harmless with respect to dues so deducted and remitted.

  • Tender Security 18.1 The Tenderer shall furnish as part of its Tender, either a Tender-Securing Declaration or a Tender Security, as specified in the TDS, in original form and, in the case of a Tender Security, in the amount and currency specified in the TDS. 18.2 A Tender Securing Declaration shall use the form included in Section IV, Tendering Forms. 18.3 If a Tender Security is specified pursuant to ITT 18.1, the Tender Security shall be a demand guarantee in any of the following forms at the Tenderer option: i) cash; ii) a bank guarantee; iii) a guarantee by an insurance company registered and licensed by the Insurance Regulatory Authority listed by the Authority; or

  • Bid Security 2.1 Bid security, as a guarantee of good faith, in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or bidder's bond, may be required to be submitted with this bid document, as indicated on the bid. 2.1.1 Bid security, if required, shall be in the amount specified on the bid. The bid security must be scanned and attached to the “Response Attachments” section of your response or it can be faxed to the Purchasing Office at 000-000-0000. The original bid security should then be sent or delivered to the office of the Purchasing Division, 000 X. 0xx Xx., Xxx. 000, Xxxxxxx, XX 00000 to be received within three (3) days of bid closing. 2.1.2 If bid security is not received in the Office of the Purchasing Division as stated above, the vendor may be determined to be non-responsive. 2.2 If alternates are submitted, only one bid security will be required, provided the bid security is based on the amount of the highest gross bid. 2.3 Such bid security will be returned to the unsuccessful Bidders when the award of bid is made. 2.4 Bid security will be returned to the successful Bidder(s) as follows: 2.4.1 For single order bids with specified quantities: upon the delivery of all equipment or merchandise, and upon final acceptance by the Owners. 2.4.2 For all other contracts: upon approval by the Owners of the executed contract and bonds. 2.5 Owners shall have the right to retain the bid security of Bidders to whom an award is being considered until either: 2.5.1 A contract has been executed and bonds have been furnished. 2.5.2 The specified time has elapsed so that the bids may be withdrawn. 2.5.3 All bids have been rejected. 2.6 Bid security will be forfeited to the Owners as full liquidated damages, but not as a penalty, for any of the following reasons, as pertains to this specification document: 2.6.1 If the Bidder fails or refuses to enter into a contract on forms provided by the Owners, and/or if the Bidder fails to provide sufficient bonds or insurance within the time period as established in this specification document.

  • ARTICLE UNION SECURITY It is agreed that all employees covered by this Agree- ment shall become and remain members of the Union in good standing as a condition of employment. New employees shall make application for membership in the Union at the time of their hiring and shall become and remain members of the Union in good standing, as a condition of employment. The Employer agrees that it will inform all new employees prior to or at the time of hiring of the Union security provisions of the Agree- ment. The Employer or designate will during the first three (3) weeks of each individual’s employment make known to the new employee the names and work locations of union stewards in the store. The Employer shall, during the term of this Agreement, as a condition of employment, deduct from members of the bargaining unit the regular weekly Union Dues and such Dues shall be remitted to the Union prior to the 15th day of the month following the month in which such deduction is made. The Employer shall notify the Union of new full-time employees’ classifications and rates of pay in addition to ter- minations, on a monthly basis. Deduction statements shall be documented by location, containing the full name of the employee and his starting date and social insurance number subject to the employee consenting to the use of his or her social insurance number. The Employer agrees to record the annual Union Dues deductions for each employee on his Form. Employers shall provide dues information to the Union in an electronic format acceptable to both parties. In the event that such weekly Dues are changed during the term of the Agreement, such change must be given to the Employer by notice properly authorized by Union Officials and shall become effective within one month following the date the notice is received. New employees shall be documented and documents for- warded to the Union Office within two (2) weeks of hiring. The first sixty (60) days worked at each store shall be con- sidered a probationary period. It is understood between the Employer and the Union that a probationary employee shall be considered an employee for all purposes of the Agree- ment save that a probationary employee may be dismissed at any time during the probationary period.

  • User Security You agree to take every precaution to ensure the safety, security and integrity of your account and transactions when using Mobile Banking. You agree not to leave your Device unattended while logged into Mobile Banking and to log off immediately at the completion of each access by you. You agree not to provide your username, password or other access information to any unauthorized person.   • Internet Security The Service utilizes a comprehensive security strategy to protect your accounts and transactions conducted over the Internet. Prior to activating your access to the Service, our Internet Banking Department will verify your identity and authorization against information associated with the Eligible Account (s) that you request to be linked to the Service. Access IDs and Passcodes - One of the main security features protecting the Service is the unique combination of your Access Identification Code (Access ID) and Passcode. During the enrollment process, you will be asked to select a unique Access ID, and then choose a Passcode that will be used to gain access to the Service. You determine your own Passcode, which is encrypted in our database. Neither this Institution nor its Service Providers have access to this information. The Service will automatically deactivate your account after three unsuccessful login attempts within a 24-hour time frame. You may reset your passcode online or you may contact this Institution for assistance.
