Responsibilities in Connection with the Supervision Relationship. 6.1. The doctoral candidate and the supervisor(s) commit • to live the supervision relationship actively and conscientiously and to create a working environment that is characterized by trust, mutual respect and esteem as well as an open communication. They pursue to execute the doctoral project at a good pace; • to support TUM-GS in their work; • to confirm annually that the data and continuation of the doctoral project are up-to-date as stated in § 5 of the Bylaws of TUM-GS; • and to communicate about the topic, problem statement and set-up of the doctoral project, also with regards to the realistic implementation in the planning horizon.

  • Independent Contractor Relationship SELLER is an independent contractor in all its operations and activities hereunder. The employees used by SELLER to perform Work under this Contract shall be SELLER's employees exclusively without any relation whatsoever to LOCKHEED XXXXXX.

  • INDEPENDENT RELATIONSHIP This Agreement is not intended to constitute, create, give effect to or otherwise recognize a joint venture, partnership, or formal business organization, or agency agreement of any kind, and the rights and obligations of the Parties shall be only those expressly set forth herein.

  • Board-Superintendent Relationship The Board shall be primarily responsible for formulating and adopting policy. He is responsible for administering the instruction of students and the business affairs of the school district. The Board members agree, individually and collectively, to promptly refer all criticisms, complaints, and suggestions called to their attention to the Superintendent for action, study and/or recommendation, as appropriate.

  • Responsibility for Related Parties 31.4.1 The Provider will be responsible as against the Department for the acts or omissions of the Provider Related Parties as if they were the acts or omissions of the Provider and the Department will be responsible as against the Provider for the acts or omissions of Department Related Parties as if they were the acts or omissions of the Department.
