Rest Periods and Lunch Breaks. Section 1. A rest period of fifteen (15) minutes shall be permitted for all employees for each full half work shift. Such rest periods shall normally be on a scheduled basis so that activities of the department shall be staffed at all times. It is a joint responsibility of management and the employee to schedule rest periods.
