Common use of Restoration of Benefits Clause in Contracts

Restoration of Benefits. All benefits to which a professional status teacher was entitled at the time of the commencement of the leave of absence, including unused accumulated sick leave, will be restored to them upon their return, and they will be assigned to the same position which they had at the time said leave commenced, if available, or if not, to a substantially equivalent position.
