Common use of Restoration of Benefits Clause in Contracts

Restoration of Benefits. All benefits to which an employee was entitled at the time of his/her layoff, including unused accumulated annual leave and credits toward sabbatical eligibility, will be restored upon his/her return to active employment, and the employee will be placed on the proper step of the salary schedule for the employee's current position according to the employee's experience and education.
