RESTORATION OF CUMULATIVE SICK LEAVE BALANCES. An employee who separates from the County and is reinstated/rehired, for any reason other than lay-off (see above), by the County within one (1) year from the date of separation, shall have previously accrued and unused paid sick days reinstated up to a maximum of 24 hours. The employee shall be entitled to use the reinstated accrued and unused paid sick days as stated above.
