EXEMPT WORK SITUATIONS. Time spent in study courses, seminars, and meetings of professional groups is exempt from the provisions of this Section.
EXEMPT WORK SITUATIONS. Except when required to as part of an employee’s regular duties and/or approved in advance, time spent in study courses, seminars, and meetings of professional groups during a holiday listed in subsection 9.A. (Holidays Defined) is not considered work time. Employees assigned to or approved in advance to spend time in study courses, seminars, and meetings of professional groups during a holiday listed in subsection 9.A. (Holidays Defined) shall be compensated as set forth in subsection 9.E. (Holiday Compensation).
EXEMPT WORK SITUATIONS. Employees attending education courses, seminars or meetings of a professional group, pursuant to Article 12. Education Leave, that fall on a holiday are not eligible for time and one half pay on that day.
