Rest Period After Overtime (a) When overtime work is necessary, it will, wherever reasonably practicable, be so arranged that employees have at least 10 consecutive hours off duty between the work of successive days or shifts, including overtime.
Rest Period An employee who works overtime shall have at least a ten hour rest period between the end of ordinary hours on any one day and start of ordinary hours on the next day. If on the instructions of the employer, the employee resumes or continues work without having had 10 consecutive hours off duty, the employee shall be paid double time until he or she is released from duty for ten hour rest period. The employee shall then be entitled to be absent without loss of pay for ordinary working hours occurring during the ten hour rest period. In the case of shift workers, eight hours shall be substituted for ten hours when overtime is worked:
Borrowing Upon receipt of Proper Instructions, the Custodian shall deliver securities of a Portfolio to lenders or their agents, or otherwise establish a segregated account as agreed to by the applicable Fund on behalf of such Portfolio and the Custodian, as collateral for borrowings effected by such Portfolio, provided that such borrowed money is payable by the lender (a) to or upon the Custodian's order, as Custodian for such Portfolio, and (b) concurrently with delivery of such securities.
Refinancing Preparation Advance If the Financing Agreement provides for the repayment out of the proceeds of the Financing of an advance made by the Association or the Bank (“Preparation Advance”), the Association shall, on behalf of the Recipient, withdraw from the Financing Account on or after the Effective Date the amount required to repay the withdrawn and outstanding balance of the advance as at the date of such withdrawal from the Financing Account and to pay all accrued and unpaid charges, if any, on the advance as at such date. The Association shall pay the amount so withdrawn to itself or the Bank, as the case may be, and shall cancel the remaining unwithdrawn amount of the advance.”
Meal Breaks and Rest Periods 7.1 Except when required for urgent or emergency work and except as provided in 7.2 below, no employee shall be required to work for more than five hours continuously without being entitled to a meal break of not less than half an hour. There will be only one meal break of not less than half an hour during a 10 hour shift.
