RESTRUCTURING AND SURPLUS STAFFING. 8.3.1 The parties to this agreement and those bound by this agreement recognise the serious consequences that the loss of employment can have on individual employees and propose to minimise this as far as possible by using the provisions in this agreement to keep as many employees as possible in employment.
