RESUMPTION OF NORMAL DUTIES. 8.1 An employee who has been engaged in incident duties for a period that extends beyond or is outside the employee’s ordinary hours will not resume normal duties until the specified rest period has been taken (refer Section 5 ‘Rest Periods’). 8.2 Employees will be required to resume normal duties upon having had the specified rest period (refer Section 5 ‘Rest Periods’) unless authorised by the employer.
