RETIREE MEDICAL FOR EMPLOYEES. Hired Prior to June 26, 2006 Who Retire Prior to January 1, 2014 (Tier 1): Employees hired prior to June 26, 2006 who retire prior to January 1, 2014 with a minimum of five (5) years of service with the City, will receive a retiree medical benefit equivalent to the amount necessary for actual enrollment in single, two-party, or family coverage, up to a maximum dollar amount of the Kaiser family premium rate.
