Teachers desiring to retire at the end of the school year who want to access the retirement benefits in Sections 12.2 and 12.5 must notify the Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources in writing of the intention to retire by February 15th. For Teachers choosing to work the additional year under the Transition Year Benefit, application must be made to the Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources by February 15th.
