B. The employee on a Short Term Unpaid Leave of Absence shall retain accrued pre-leave benefits including seniority and the ability to earn seniority credit during the short term leave. C. If an employee desires to return to work early from an approved Short Term Unpaid Leave of Absence, they may consult with the Director of Human Resources or designee regarding the ending date of the unpaid leave. The Director of Human Resources may make moderate adjustments in the ending date in accordance with the needs of the School District.
