Right to Select Carriers. Any benefits provided for by this Agreement shall be provided through a self-insurance plan or under a group insurance policy or policies issued by an insurance company or insurance companies selected by the district. "Insurance companies" include regular line insurance companies and non-profit organizations providing such benefits described herein. If these benefits are insured by an insurance company, all benefits are subject to the provisions of the policies between the District and the insurance company. Unless specifically agreed otherwise, the carriers shall be the same carriers insuring teachers.
