Rights of Law. No employee shall be denied any legal right granted under Federal, State, County or local law or regulation.

Faculty rights, as addressed in the laws of the state of Washington and of the United States, shall not be denied or restricted by the terms of this Agreement, District policy, or regulation unless the subject matter is specifically addressed in this Agreement, District policy, rule or regulation.

The rights granted to employees hereunder shall be deemed to be in addition to those provided elsewhere.

Every employee shall be entitled to full rights of citizenship and nothing contained within this Agreement shall be construed to limit or restrict the religious, political or social activities of any employee outside of the regular school day and/or contracted assignments, unless such activities are not in compliance with the Code of Professional Conduct as outlined in WAC Chapter 181-87.
Rights of Law. The rights and remedies granted to HP pursuant to this Agreement are in addition to, and shall not be deemed to limit or affect, any other rights or remedies available at law or in equity.

The District shall not directly or indirectly discourage or deprive or coerce any employee in the enjoyment of any rights conferred to protected by the Statutes and Constitutions of the United States and the State of Washington; or discriminate against any employee with respect to hours, wages, terms or conditions of employment by reason of his/her membership in the Association or his/her participation in activities of the Association.
