Rotating Apprentices & Associates. Management, with assistance from the Mechanic’s Committee, will adopt an organized plan, as far as practical, of rotating each apprentice/associate through different departments and under different Journeymen in order that he may gain the widest variety of experience in the work of his chosen trade(s). To progress as above set forth and in any such case, the Mill Manager, after consultation with the Standing Committee, may deviate from the above described progression but unless the consent of the Standing Committee has been obtained, the Mill Manager’s action shall be subject to the grievance procedure.   • Adult Apprentices People who are 21 years of age or over at the time of entering into an apprenticeship with the Employer will be paid as per the wage rates set out in the appropriate Appendix to this Agreement. Where special or unusual circumstances occur or apply and where the parties to this Agreement and the adult apprentice agree in writing, the adult apprentice may be paid at a lesser rate, provided that the lesser rate will not be less than the rate for a junior apprentice set out in the appropriate Appendix to this Agreement.

  • Drug and Alcohol Testing – Safety-Sensitive Functions A. Employees required to have a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) are subject to pre-employment, post-accident, random and reasonable suspicion testing in accordance with the U.S. Department of Transportation rules, Coast Guard Regulations (46 CFR Part 16) or the Federal Omnibus Transportation Employee Testing Act of 1991. The testing will be conducted in accordance with current Employer policy.

  • JOINT APPRENTICESHIP COMMITTEE There is hereby established a Joint Apprenticeship Committee as defined in paragraph (c) hereof. This Committee shall be composed of four (4) members, two (2) representing the Company and two (2) Journeymen/women employees representing the Union. The Chairperson shall be the Supervisor of Apprentices. The Committee shall meet once a month unless otherwise agreed. It shall be the duty of the Committee:

  • Health plan specification The Employer will require health plans participating in the Group Insurance Program to develop and implement health promotion and health education programs for State employees and their dependents.

  • APPRENTICESHIP COMMITTEE The central parties agree that within sixty (60) days of the commencement of this agreement, a joint local committee consisting of up to three representatives each will be formed to discuss the feasibility of establishing an apprenticeship program(s). If such a program is deemed feasible, the local parties will determine the terms and conditions of such program(s). The joint local committee will seek the availability of any federal or provincial funds to cover the costs of such programs.

  • Paraeducators A Paraeducator who has successfully completed a probationary period of ninety (90) calendar days. The term Paraeducators shall include all Paraeducators as defined in Appendix B. Paraeducators will work a 186-day contract, 7½ hours per day and receive four (4) paid holidays unless otherwise specified.

  • Pregnancy and Maternity Services This plan covers physician services and the services of a licensed midwife for prenatal, delivery, and postpartum care. The first office visit to diagnose a pregnancy is not included in prenatal services. This plan covers hospital services for mother and newborn child for at least forty-eight

  • APPRENTICES 6.36.1 The Contractor acknowledges and agrees that, if this Contract involves a dollar amount greater than or a number of working days greater than that specified in Labor Code Section 1777.5, this Contract is governed by the provisions of Labor Code Section 1777.5. It shall be the responsibility of the Contractor to ensure compliance with this Article and with Labor Code Section 1777.5 for all apprenticeable occupations.

  • AIN Selective Carrier Routing for Operator Services, Directory Assistance and Repair Centers 4.3.1 BellSouth will provide AIN Selective Carrier Routing at the request of <<customer_name>>. AIN Selective Carrier Routing will provide <<customer_name>> with the capability of routing operator calls, 0+ and 0- and 0+ NPA (LNPA) 555-1212 directory assistance, 1+411 directory assistance and 611 repair center calls to pre-selected destinations.

  • Information Technology Enterprise Architecture Requirements If this Contract involves information technology-related products or services, the Contractor agrees that all such products or services are compatible with any of the technology standards found at xxxxx://xxx.xx.xxx/iot/2394.htm that are applicable, including the assistive technology standard. The State may terminate this Contract for default if the terms of this paragraph are breached.
