Rules on Replacements and Notice of Return 15. 8.1 When a leave of absence is for three (3) months or more, an employee must advise the Employer in writing, at least one (1) month before the expiration of the leave, of their return to the position. The Employer may, as a result of their return, reduce the staff by terminating the term employee hired to replace the person on leave of absence.
