SAFETY CONDITIONS. Section 12.1 When an employee is required by a supervisor to work under a condition which the employee regards as a violation of a safety rule, the employee shall have the right to refuse if eminent danger is present or if proper procedures are not followed, but if eminent danger is not present and if the proper procedures have been followed, the employee shall have the right to perform the work under protest and shall refer the matter to the Safety Committee for consideration and recommendation.
