Common use of Salary After Promotion Clause in Contracts

Salary After Promotion. If an employee is appointed to a permanent position, that employee shall receive the new salary immediately regardless of the pay status of the employee who previously occupied the line. If an employee was “acting” on the line for more than six (6) weeks, he/she shall also receive the differential in pay between the two lines from the date of assumption of the acting title until the permanent designation was made.
