Common use of Salary for Extended Employment Clause in Contracts

Salary for Extended Employment. Additional contracted weeks of employment, which are an extension of the salary schedule, will be paid on a pro-rata basis for that portion of their assignment beyond 190 duty days. The length of the work day for extended employment assignments will be that of the normal teacher work day unless otherwise specified. If the length of the work day for an extended employment assignment is less than the length of the normal work day, there shall be a proportionate reduction in daily compensation rates.
