Information Technology Enterprise Architecture Requirements If this Contract involves information technology-related products or services, the Contractor agrees that all such products or services are compatible with any of the technology standards found at xxxxx://xxx.xx.xxx/iot/2394.htm that are applicable, including the assistive technology standard. WHMIS The Work-place Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) is designed to classify hazardous materials that are used in the work place. The law requires all such products to be properly labelled and requires material safety data sheet(s) (MSDS) to be suitably attainable. Employees will receive training to inform them of such products and advise them of the hazards involved, and of the proper procedures for safe storage, handling, use and disposal of these materials. Employees will also be instructed about what to do should they be exposed to a hazardous material. The Company has WHMIS charts posted throughout the plant.
TEACHERS AND RESEARCHERS 1. An individual who is a resident of a Contracting State immediately before making a visit to the other Contracting State, and who, at the invitation of any university, college, school or other similar educational institution, visits that other State for a period not exceeding two years solely for the purpose of teaching or research or both at such educational institution shall be exempt from tax in that other State on any remuneration for such teaching or research.
