Common use of SAVINGS PROVISIONS Clause in Contracts

SAVINGS PROVISIONS. 17100 It is understood and agreed that the specific provisions contained in this agreement shall prevail over District practices, policies and procedures, and over state law to the extent permitted by state law. 17200 The terms and conditions set forth in this Agreement represent the full and complete understanding and commitment between the parties for the term of the Agreement. The terms and conditions may be altered, changed, added to, deleted from, or modified only through the voluntary and mutual consent of the parties in a written, executed amendment. 17300 If any provisions of this Agreement are held to be contrary to law by new legislation, by a court of competent jurisdiction or a governmental administrative agency having authority over the provisions, such provisions will not be deemed valid and subsisting except to the extent being valid by law, but all other provisions will continue in full force and effect. In witness whereof, the parties to this Agreement have caused these revisions, additions, and appendices to be executed by their agents on this first day of June, 1989.
