Scheduled Interruptions. (a) ActewAGL may, without being in breach of this Agreement, effect any repairs, testing, maintenance, replacement, upgrading or any other works related to the Network which are reasonably required. (b) ActewAGL may interrupt or reduce the Services during the work referred to in clause 23.2(a) to the extent necessary to enable that work to proceed. (c) If ActewAGL intends to interrupt or reduce the Services in accordance with clause 23.2(b), ActewAGL will: (i) notify the User and the relevant Customer as early as reasonably practicable (and provide not less than 4 Business Days' notice) prior to the interruption or reduction of Services of its intention to interrupt or reduce the Services; (ii) use reasonable endeavours to agree with the User the timing of the intended interruption or reduction; and (iii) use best endeavours to minimise the period during which the Services are interrupted or reduced. (d) If ActewAGL notifies the User that it intends to interrupt or reduce the Services in accordance with clause 23.2(b), the User will use best endeavours to ensure that there is a cessation or reduction of: (i) the delivery of Gas to any Receipt Points nominated by ActewAGL; or (ii) the taking of Gas at any Delivery Points or class of Delivery Points nominated by ActewAGL, in accordance with the directions of ActewAGL.

(b) The Service Provider may interrupt or reduce the Services during the work referred to in clause 25.2(a) to the extent necessary to enable that work to proceed. (c) If the Service Provider intends to interrupt or reduce the Services in accordance with clause 25.2(b), the Service Provider will: (i) notify the User and the relevant Customer as early as reasonably practicable (and use reasonable endeavours to provide no less than 5 Business Days' notice) prior to the interruption or reduction of Services of its intention to interrupt or reduce the Services; (ii) use reasonable endeavours to agree with the User the timing of the intended interruption or reduction; and (iii) use reasonable endeavours to minimise the period during which the Services are interrupted or reduced. (d) If the Service Provider notifies the User that it intends to interrupt or reduce the Services in accordance with clause 25.2(b), the User is solely responsible for ensuring that there is a cessation or reduction of: (i) the delivery of Gas to any Receipt Points nominated by the Service Provider; or (ii) the taking of Gas at any Delivery Points or class of Delivery Points nominated by the Service Provider, in accordance with the directions of the Service Provider.

Scheduled Interruptions. If, in addition to regularly scheduled outage time for maintenance and backup, Supplier determines during the Term to modify, repair or replace any Equipment or Software or other resources used to perform the Services in such a manner as to require one or more scheduled interruptions of Supplier's ability to perform the Services, Supplier shall give reasonable advance written notice to Customer and cooperate in good faith to arrange scheduling and similar issues in order to minimize the disruption of Customer's ongoing business operations.

Scheduled Interruptions. The proposed Clause 25.2(c)(i) provides for either the User or the Customer to be notified of a scheduled interruption. This proposed amendment to existing arrangements (where both are notified) should be rejected and the current process retained. The proposed Clause 25.2(d) should be rejected as unnecessary as the requirement to notify the Customer and the User should be retained.
