Common use of School Equipment Clause in Contracts

School Equipment. a. Unless the use of such equipment has already been booked, a Principal / Vice Principal shall not unreasonably deny the use of school chairs and/or audio- visual equipment where the equipment has been requested for Surrey Teachers’ Association meetings or Surrey Teachers’ Association sponsored in-service. The Surrey Teachers’ Association will reimburse the Board for any transportation or other costs incurred by the Board as a result of the Surrey Teachers’ Association’s use of such equipment, but such use will otherwise be without cost to the Surrey Teachers’ Association. b. STARA representatives may utilize school photocopiers for Surrey Teachers’ Association business when the photocopiers are not required for school use. The Surrey Teachers’ Association will be billed for this service, at cost.
