Second Masters Degree. For the Faculty with a second Masters degree, there will be an additional five hundred dollars ($500) included in the base salary, unless the record shows the Faculty member has been compensated under a previous salary schedule. If Faculty earn a second masters after initial hire, he/she will receive $500 added to base salary as a promotional increase in the next annual contract cycle following receipt by the Human Resources office of an official transcript reflecting a conferred second masters degree.

  • Master’s Degree Transcripts must be submitted showing the actual completion of the degree requirements, or a transcript plus certification that requirements have been met and the degree will be granted on a specific date. Master’s Degrees other than in the field of education are acceptable only if they are in or relevant to the member’s current subject area of teaching. Examples of degrees relevant to a member’s current subject area would be political science for social studies teachers, engineering for industrial arts teachers, reading, or counseling degrees for all teachers. Approval of degrees in areas other than the member’s current teaching assignment will be at the discretion of the District and will be granted based upon the program needs of the District. Specifically excluded are degrees in fields unrelated to the member’s assignment, such as business degrees for elementary teachers except in response to a specific District program need, and degrees in law and religion.

  • Bachelor’s Degree A four-year baccalaureate degree is recommended; however, applicants who complete a minimum of 90 semester or 135 quarter units of undergraduate study will qualify for admission. To be eligible to apply, the applicant must be on track to complete the required units through the summer term that precedes fall matriculation. Advanced Placement (AP) courses for the prerequisites will be accepted as long as the appropriate number of credit hours was received. These courses must appear on your official college transcript or in a letter from the registrar stating that the appropriate number of credit hours was verified by the program.   • Overstory Removal Units All trees within “Overstory Removal Units” are designated for cutting when they meet Utilization Standards and equal or exceed the diameter limits shown on Sale Area Map. B2.34 Understory Removal Units. All trees within “Understory Removal Units” are designated for cutting when they meet Utilization Standards and are smaller than the diameter limits shown on Sale Area Map. B2.35 Individual Trees. All trees to be cut, other than in the units described in B2.31, B2.32, B2.33, and B2.34, are Marked or designated by description.   • Purchaser’s Default If Purchaser fails to consummate this transaction for any reason other than Seller’s intentional and willful default, failure of a condition to Purchaser’s obligation to close, or the exercise by Purchaser of an express right of termination granted herein, Seller shall be entitled, as its sole remedy hereunder, to terminate this Agreement and to receive and retain the Xxxxxxx Money as full liquidated damages for such default of Purchaser, the parties hereto acknowledging that it is impossible to estimate more precisely the damages which might be suffered by Seller upon Purchaser’s default, and that said Xxxxxxx Money is a reasonable estimate of Seller’s probable loss in the event of default by Purchaser. Seller’s retention of said Xxxxxxx Money is intended not as a penalty, but as full liquidated damages. The right to retain the Xxxxxxx Money as full liquidated damages is Seller’s sole and exclusive remedy in the event of default hereunder by Purchaser, and Seller hereby waives and releases any right to (and hereby covenants that it shall not) xxx the Purchaser: (a) for specific performance of this Agreement, or (b) to recover actual damages in excess of the Xxxxxxx Money. The foregoing liquidated damages provision shall not apply to or limit Purchaser’s liability for Purchaser’s obligations under Sections 3.1(b), 3.1(c), 3.7 and 10.1 of this Agreement. Purchaser hereby waives and releases any right to (and hereby covenants that it shall not) xxx Seller or seek or claim a refund of said Xxxxxxx Money (or any part thereof) on the grounds it is unreasonable in amount and exceeds Seller’s actual damages or that its retention by Seller constitutes a penalty and not agreed upon and reasonable liquidated damages.

  • Tandem Transit Traffic 12.1 As used in this Section, Tandem Transit Traffic is Telephone Exchange Service traffic that originates on CBB's network, and is transported through Verizon’s Tandem to the subtending End Office or its equivalent of another carrier (CLEC, ILEC other than Verizon, Commercial Mobile Radio Service (CMRS) carrier, or other LEC (“Other Carrier”). Neither the originating nor terminating customer is a Customer of Verizon. Subtending End Offices shall be determined in accordance with and as identified in the Local Exchange Routing Guide (LERG). Switched Exchange Access Service traffic is not Tandem Transit Traffic.

  • Buyer’s Default Seller’s remedies shall be limited to liquidated damages in the amount of the Xxxxxxx Money set forth in Section IV. It is agreed that such payments and things of value are liquidated damages and are Seller’s sole and only remedy for Buyer’s failure to perform the obligations of this Agreement. The Parties agree that Seller’s actual damages in the event of Buyer’s default would be difficult to measure, and the amount of the liquidated damages herein provided for is a reasonable estimate of such damages.

  • Second Stage If the two Parties are unable to agree at first stage, then within ten (10) days of receipt of an answer to the first stage grievance, the Union must take up the grievance in writing with the appropriate management representatives as designated by the Employer. A meeting shall be convened within seven (7) days of the filing of the grievance in writing at second stage, at which the grievor shall be present in disciplinary related matters unless both Parties agree otherwise. When the grievors or job xxxxxxx(s) attend during their regular working hours, they shall suffer no loss of pay. If the grievors or job xxxxxxx(s) attend on their own time, they shall be paid at straight-time rates for the time of the second stage meeting. The minimum pay of one (1) hour shall apply. The answer to the second stage grievance must be given within ten (10) days of the meeting held to discuss the grievance at second stage.

  • Transit Traffic The following rates will apply:

  • Clearcutting Units All trees that meet Utilization Standards within “Clearcutting Units” are designated for cutting.

  • Seller’s Default Buyer may elect to treat this Agreement as cancelled, in which case all Xxxxxxx Money paid by Buyer hereunder shall be returned and Buyer may recover such damages as may be proper, or Buyer may elect to treat this Agreement as being in full force and effect and Buyer shall have the right to specific performance or damages, or both.
