Secondary Teachers Professional Day. The secondary certificated employee day will be seven (7) hours and forty (40) minutes, from 7:20 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Each certificated secondary employee will be in the building fifteen (15) minutes before the start of the student day.

  • Professional Day The period set forth in the Professional Day Article.

  • Professional Dues The school district will pay the annual dues for the Superintendent’s membership in the American Association of School Administrators, Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development, and Nebraska Council of School Administrators. The Superintendent’s membership in other professional organizations will be considered annually and may be approved at the discretion of the school board.

  • Professional Days Upon prior written application to the College, an Employee may, be granted permission to attend, during time periods when the Employee is responsible for performing duties for the College, educational and professional activities without loss of pay.

  • Professional Development Leave A. Policy. Professional development leave shall be made available to employees who meet the requirements set forth below. For Dues paying members, The District shall deduct one-twelfth (1/12) of dues and representation fee from the regular salary check of the unit member each month for twelve (12) months. Deductions for unit members who begin paid service after the commencement of the school year shall be prorated based on percentage of employment. Unit members serving one-half time paid service or less shall pay one-half of the dues and representation fee.
