Student Day. The school day for pupils shall be set by the Board.

Student Day. Whether the District is using a 100% in-person learning model, a hybrid learning model, or a 100% remote learning model, the teaching day and the student learning day will follow the regular schedule as if students were engaged in in-person learning consistent with current collective bargaining agreement provisions. Educators are expected to virtually and visually connect with all remote learners assigned to their homeroom/course every day via Google Classroom or other District- approved online meeting platform. Elementary teachers will connect multiple times throughout the school day; Middle and High School teachers will connect during each course/block.
Student Day. Student day for Pine Crest School will be from 8:00 a.m. – 2:15 p.m.; Xxxx Xxxxxx Junior High from 8:00 a.m. – 2:15 p.m.; Georgetown-Ridge Farm High School from 8:00 a.m. – 2:15 p.m. If the daily class schedule at the Junior or Senior High is altered for a planned event, then a schedule will be created providing equal time for all classes. This schedule will be provided to all staff members at the beginning of the school year. Students, teachers, teaching assistants and personal aides shall have access to the school libraries beginning with the first day of school through the last day of school.
Student Day. The length of the student day/school day in the District shall be established by the Board in accordance with 16 VSA Section 1071(b). The Board will not establish a teacher day which is longer than seven hours and thirty minutes. The length of the work day shall be substantially equal for all full time teachers. Teachers will set their schedule to ensure they arrive no later than 15 minutes prior to the admittance of students for the start of the school day and will leave no earlier than 15 minutes after the dismissal of students at the conclusion of the student day, unless otherwise mutually agreed between the teacher and the Principal. The Administration in each building will meet with Association Representatives no later than June 10 annually to set the teacher start and end time in each building for the following school year.
Student Day. The student day will be 6 hours 40 minutes. 5.10. TEACHER Day
5.10.1. The TEACHER workday will be a continuous seven (7) hours and thirty (30) minutes, which includes a duty-free lunch, a total of at least 50 minutes designed to fulfill the core professional duties and responsibilities, and at least one prep period during the student day in blocks of no less than twenty (20) minutes.
5.10.2. All TEACHERS referred to as Special Educators and/or Co-Curriculars, shall have a work day which adheres to one of the building schedules. TEACHERS may arrive late or leave early during the portion of day preceding or following the student day (prep/set-up time) to attend to personal business, emergencies, doctor appointments and similar situations with notification to the ADMINISTRATION on a “flex-time” basis. Permission must be requested from and approval granted by the ADMINISTRATION in advance whenever the leaving early or coming late will occur on a regular basis or when it impacts the student day. It is understood and expected that TEACHERS will make up the time missed.
