Section 4 - Bereavement Leave. A. An employee may be absent without loss of salary for up to a total of three (3) workdays for the death of a member of the employee's immediate family, which shall include parents and stepparents, children and stepchildren, spouse, grandparents, grandchildren, great grandparents, great grandchildren, siblings and step-siblings, and in-laws of like relationship. These days are not to be deducted from sick leave.
