Section 4 – Notice of Right to Representation. 11 The Hospital shall advise the nurse in advance if a requested meeting may 12 result in disciplinary action. Where an investigatory meeting may lead to 13 disciplinary action, the Hospital will inform the nurse that they he/she may 14 request to have another employee or Association representative present at 15 the investigatory meeting. The Association shall provide the Hospital and the 16 nurses with a list identifying their authorized representatives, which list shall 17 be regularly updated. It is the nurse’s responsibility to arrange the 18 appearance of a representative at the investigatory meeting. The names of 19 available representatives will be shared by the Hospital with the nurse to 20 facilitate timely scheduling of the meeting.

  • Right to Representation Upon request, an employee will have the right to representation at all levels on any matter adversely affecting the employee’s conditions of employment. The exercise of this right shall not unreasonably delay or postpone a meeting.
