Selection Preference. It shall be the intent of the Employer to fill job vacancies from within the bargaining unit, providing employees who apply for positions have the ability to do the job. Preference in selection shall be to full-time regular, part-time regular, casual employees, and new employees hired pursuant to Article 12.1(d)(vii) in that order.
