Common use of Seniority Accrual When Absent From Work Clause in Contracts

Seniority Accrual When Absent From Work. Except as expressly provided otherwise by this Agreement, seniority shall continue to accrue for any Employee who is absent from work due to layoff; Paid Holidays; Paid time off and approved leave of absence subject to the provisions of clause 6.02 (e) below.

Except as expressly provided otherwise by this Agreement, seniority shall continue to accrue for any Employee who is absent from work due to layoff; Paid Statutory Holidays; Paid floating holidays; lieu days; banked overtime taken as time off and approved work; vacation; any leave of absence including, but not limited to, with respect to illness, injury, disability or Worker’s Compensation, or other approved time off pursuant to this Agreement during the period of such absence from work, subject to the provisions of clause 6.02 (e) 16.09 below.
