Seniority and Service during Pregnancy/Parental Leave. An employee shall continue to accumulate seniority and service during pregnancy and/or parental leave. For part-time employees such seniority shall be calculated as the average accumulation during the three (3) month period before such leave.

Related to Seniority and Service during Pregnancy/Parental Leave

  • Pregnancy/Parental Leave Pregnancy/Parental Leave will be granted in accordance with the provisions of the Employment Standards Act as amended from time to time.

  • Pregnancy/Parental/Adoption Leave Pregnancy Leave will be in accordance with the current Employment Standards Act (Pregnancy and Parental Leave) at the time of application. (See Appendix A)

  • Maternity/Adoption/Parental Leave a) In accordance with the Saskatchewan Employment Act an employee shall be granted maternity, adoption, and/or parental leave of absence without pay.

  • Communication during Parental Leave (a) Where an employee is on parental leave and a definite decision has been made to introduce significant change at the workplace, the employer shall take reasonable steps to:

  • Uniformed Service Shared Leave Pool Eligible state employees may donate leave to the uniformed services shared leave pool for use by state employees who have been called to active duty in one of the uniformed services of the United States.   • Subsidy During Family and Medical Leave For employees who are on family or medical leave, under the provisions of Article 46 of this MOU, Management shall continue the City's medical and dental plan subsidies for employees who are enrolled in a City health and/or dental plan prior to the beginning of said leave. Employees shall be eligible for such continued subsidies while on a Family or Medical Leave in accordance with Article 46 herein. However, for any unpaid portion of Family or Medical Leave, health and/or dental plan subsidies shall be continued for a maximum of nine (9) pay periods, except while an employee is on a Pregnancy Disability Leave absence (up to 4 months), Management shall continue the City’s subsidy for her pregnancy health coverage (medical plan subsidy) in compliance with the provisions of SB 299 and AB 592 enacted in 2011.

  • Parental Leave/Adoption Leave An employee will be granted unpaid parental leave for a period up to and including thirty-five (35) weeks, upon request and verification of:

  • Maternity Leave/Parental Leave Adoption Leave (Effective for maternity and/or parental leaves that commenced before May 1, 2019)

  • Seniority and Service (The following clauses will appear in all collective agreements replacing any provisions related to Probationary Period, Seniority Lists, Manner of Expressing Part-time Seniority, Full-Time definition of Seniority, Transfer of Seniority, Effect of Absence, Application of Seniority on Layoff and Recall, Layoff and Recall Rights for Part-time and Full-time Employees, Retention and Accumulation of Seniority on Transfer Outside the Bargaining Unit, and Loss of Seniority and Service, and Deemed Termination that existed in the Hospital's expiring collective agreement:)
